A School Rooted in Community

Opening Fall 2027, Great Hearts Blossom Rock will begin as a K–5 tuition-free classical academy, with plans to expand through eighth grade over time. Once open, it will become Great Hearts’ first campus in Pinal County and the network’s 25th school in Arizona.

Designed to serve more than 800 students at full capacity, the school will bring Great Hearts’ nationally recognized classical education model to families in Apache Junction and the East Valley. Families interested in attending can now join the interest list ahead of open enrollment beginning later this year.

At the heart of Great Hearts is a commitment to cultivating both the minds and character of students through the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty. Its classical curriculum encourages students to think deeply, ask meaningful questions, and grow intellectually and morally—not simply memorize information.

“This groundbreaking is more than the start of construction, it’s the beginning of a community forming around shared values,” said Founding Headmaster Conal Tanner. “Seeing students take the first shovels of dirt reminds us exactly who we are building this school for and why this work matters.”

The school site itself represents a meaningful investment in the future of Blossom Rock—bringing a high-quality education to the community from the very beginning. Brookfield Residential donated the five-acre school site, marking the first time Great Hearts has received donated land from a developer for a new Arizona campus.

As Blossom Rock continues to bloom, Great Hearts will help shape the rhythm of everyday life here—creating opportunities for families to learn, gather, and grow together close to home. We hope your family will join us for this special morning as we celebrate what’s next for Blossom Rock.
